Some things you can observe that many just don't notice when they are attached to their own cliques. Are we getting too comfortable in our little world?

Cliques are not bad things. It gives us a sense of belonging and its better to a few people deep down than only scratch the surface with many acquaintances. But let it not stop us from getting to know more people.
